Mid-Valley Commercial Construction, Inc. is dedicated to maintaining an injury free workplace.  All employees have a responsibility to themselves and their fellow employees to work safely while identifying potential safety hazards.  Our ultimate goal is to send everyone home safely.

Led by our Safety Manager Mike Brunenkant, CHST our office and field teams achieve a positive and successful safety culture that is fully supported by ownership.

The following are key elements of our safety program:

  • Required safety committee and management participation
  • All employees have authority to “stop work” if deemed unsafe 
  • Site Specific Health and Safety plans for every project
  • Continued training for all staff
  • A drug free workplace
  • OHSA 30 for all supervisors and first aid training
  • Pre-task planning through integrated technology applications including SiteDocs
  • Employee orientation for all new hires and returning workers
  • Written and strictly adhered to safety policy that all employees sign
