Renovation of 5-floor building and an addition of a 6-floor building
6-story, 180,000 SF building designed by Ankrom Moisan Architects. This included the renovation of a 60-year-old concrete building. MVCC was contracted by Lease Crutcher Lewis to perform CFS interior framing, gypsum board, and acoustical/wood ceilings. The new SAIF building was designed as LEED Gold equivalent and uses 40 percent less energy than a code-equivalent building.
SAIF’s renovation and expansion consisted of three separate buildings that serve as SAIF’s headquarters in downtown Salem. The new six-story addition was constructed that ties into an existing five-story structure. More than 100 subcontractors and vendors worked with SAIF to transform the space.
